Karaoke Birthday Party and Women Talks-Pre Holy Week Celebration
One of those birthday celebrations happening in
Filipino communities around this world: good food, mood
and of course, karaoke evening, songs and lots of
talks in the background.
Marilyn cooked for her guests kare-kare, menudo,
adobong pata, shrimps with cashewnuts and green peas,
dinuguan, etc, etc and for desserts: wow, the ever
Filipino classical for sweet things...buco pandan,
kutsinta, varieties of kalamay and bibingka.
On the eve of Palm Sunday...we were willing to make
this big sacrifice in eating all these lovely food.
Then came the best part of the evening...karaoke.
But what a frustration as I struck out not only
with singing but also filming the highlight of
the evening when professional Filipino singers
took the mike and started belting out love songs.
Sigh!
wow, what a very nice voice nakakahahaaay! sayang i missed the Party..Happy Birthday to Marlyn...
