The Day After

Everybody is hoping and praying, I should say for their voted
candidates to occupy any of the seats up for election May 2007.

In the meantime, we read news both in German and English
dailies describing our election from dramatic to bloody
exercise of democracy. Polls "worse than Afghan election,"
says foreign observer reads in the Inquirer Breaking News from
May 15, 2007.

Just a reminder: We are electing candidates for 17,889 seats
including 12 in the Senate and 275 in the House of Representatives.
Women and men with promises to be of service for the
welfare of the country and its people.

HARINAWA!

Yes, Rai, the excitement can turn into a big frustration though, as you know, only in the Philippines...

the best would be - the philippines in a permanent elction fever without disclosing any results! there'll be lots of pasalubong around, everyone is kept in a limbo & no one can claim his/her booty, yet! - tito bubuyog

Tito Bubuyog,
That's what actually some politicians do, right after their election to their office, they are preparing for the next re-election.

But they have to come out with some results soon.
